From its inception in 2005, Southwest Greens has partnered with Golflounge. Innovator and entrepreneur Peter Merck had very clear ideas about his concept, resulting in a three-story fully heated and professionally equipped driving range, a complete short game area with pitching and putting practice greens, and a 9-hole adventure golf “pirate course.”
Set in a strategically chosen location 10 minutes from the center of Hamburg beside the famous Elbe river, the facility hosts a fitting center and a club-maker. The restaurant and party facilities enable every company, family, or group of friends to have a great event, combining golf with a great night out in the lounge or its alpen hutte.
Golflounge will be celebrating its 20-year anniversary in 2025 and has created a large number of new golfers. With its unique partnerships with all golf courses around Hamburg, the whole area benefits from this fantastic initiative.
Southwest Greens built the entire golf facility and has been expanding the concept with Peter and his team on a yearly basis with its market-leading synthetic turf systems, ensuring the right practice conditions for serious golfers or just a fun night out!
