SOUTHWEST GREENS HELPS AUDI BRAND ADVANCE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
SOUTHWEST GREENS INTERNATIONAL ALONG WITH PARENT COMPANY SHAW INDUSTRIES, COMPLETED THE BOB MOORE AUDI ARTIFICIAL TURF PROJECT IN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK.
The Audi Brand, a subsidiary of Volkswagen since 1966, has reenergized its Brand in the United States in the past few years to become one of the leading German imports. Audi, known for smart, technology driven luxury vehicles has applied the same thinking to their local dealership.
Rich Shepler, owner of Southwest Greens Oklahoma, is proud of introducing a simple solution. “It just made sense,” he said, “Dealerships shouldn’t have the noise or debris from mowers next to cars!”
Audi is known for advancing their position through smart technology. In other instances it just makes practical sense to use synthetic turf. Mr. Moore comments easily, “We have enough detail to manage at our Bob Moore Audi, less maintenance made sense to us.”
“Artificial grass has come a long way,” says Shepler, “using modern methods to make life better is what we do”.
Southwest Greens is represented across seven automotive brands including Lexus, Bentley and Infiniti. Synthetic Turf, a modern convention, has become more commonplace in the market and SWG Franchisees are able to offer synthetic grass styles and price points to meet project budgets. Audi, like many automotive brands is vying for positioning with both Generation Y and Traditional customers. Synthetic turf is just one way to create a memorable Brand for this demographic.
